 Anna M. (Burke) Crosby- of Milton formerly of Dorchester, April 21..Loving mother of Michele J. Moran and her husband Terence of Holden, Francis G. Crosby and his wife Jean of Dorchester and Andrea M. Crosby of Mansfield. Daughter of the late Thomas M. and Esther M. (Ripley) Burke. Sister of the late Marjorie Blanchette. Grandmother of Deborah Giampapa and her husband John of Walpole, Patricia Lopes and her husband John of Abington, Michael Paradis and his wife Megan of Holden, Jennifer Spinale and her husband Andrew of Scituate, Jacqueline Tyman and her husband Steven of Burlington, Heather Gage and her husband David of Mansfield and Leanne Fitzpatrick and her husband Michael of Duxbury.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Brendan’s Church, DORCHESTER,  Mon. April 28, at 10:00 o’clock. Visiting Hours in the Dolan Funeral Home 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON SQUARE,  Sunday, 4-7 pm. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.  Donations in Anna’s name may be sent to Marian Manor, 130 Dorchester St., S. Boston, MA 02127.

Born in Boston, Anna was raised in Dorchester, Lower Mills.  Graduate of Notre Dame, Tyngsborough, and attended Saint Gregory Grammar School and High School.  Graduate of Emmanuel College receiving her Master’s from Boston State Teacher’s College.  Anna taught for five years for the Town of Mansfield, from there to the Charles Taylor School and Roger Wolcott School both in Mattapan for 34 years.

Anna enjoyed playing bridge and shared her love of reading, participating with her book club.  She was an alumnus of Emmanuel College.
