So sad to hear the news of Richie’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with he entire family at this difficult time!
To Rich’s wife Pam and the entire family:
I am just one of so many of Rich’s friends who, thanks to Kerri, gave us daily updates, both promising and frightening, regarding his condition. I left Tuesday the 21st for our vacation and this morning got that horrible e-mail saying that our good friend passed away. I was friends with him in high school and reconnected during our many reunion committee meetings. I think you will be hearing from every single person on that committee how upbeat, how charming and how helpful he was with all the reunion planning. He was such a nice person. My sympathies go out to you and your entire family. He will be missed so very much. Elaine Honikman.
Cunningham Junior High I don’t know, 7th or 8th grade, Richie plucking “Love Me Tender” on his guitar at the talent show. All the nights counting Fords and Chevy’s at Cunningham Park Wall where we all met drinking beer out of dixie cups and being teenagers. What a time and what a guy. Ritchie was a great guy and friend.
Just crushing news. Being far removed from the area I never saw him except for reunions, but when I did he was better than ever. The last time I told him I was voting for him for “the least changed since we were kids”. Glad I have such pleasant memories of the last time we were together.
To Rich’s Family.
Our condolences and our prayers are for you.
JUST A GOOD GUY THAT WILL BE MISSED
Dear, dear Pam and entire family,
Please know how shocked and saddened we were to learn this unspeakably painful news. We were just reminiscing over my wedding pictures, admiring Richie walking my mom down the aisle! So many memories of happy times. He touched so many lives, and was so clearly and deeply loved. He will be missed. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
Much love,
Robbie and Forrest Malone
