Love you Florida Beth!
Will miss our Nantucket strolls! God Bless!
What an amazing fight Beth had..so glad I spent time with her last June, she was under chemo @ the time but was still feeling well..She brought me to Gillette Stadium, a first for me and we had lunch @ Toby Keith’s restaurant. From there we shopped for scarves-lots of hugs and laughs. Will not be able to make the trip for the services, breaks my heart but have good memories to cherish. My husband told me last night, Cathy has 2 new friends in heaven. Rest in Peace.
Even though I did not have many chances to interact with Beth, on the occasions I did, I thoroughly enjoyed her presence, insight, humor and and thoughtful, intelligent input for doing what is right for students. She was an amazing teacher. The students who she has worked with are very very lucky to have had her in their lives in such an important way. I will miss the chances I would have to interact again with Beth. My sincere condolences to all whom were touched by Beth.
Once in awhile, one is blessed to encounter someone like Beth. Ever the ultimate teacher, not just of lessons to be learned from a book but also life lessons, Beth was a woman of significance. Her positive energy and belief in the human spirit’s capacity to not only prevail but to soar were an inspiration. Thank you Beth for all that you did for the kids in Chelsea and the kids in Scituate. You will be lovingly remembered always.
Go in peace knowing that you made a difference!
With Admiration and Respect,
Deb Donovan
