Jack Shannon, my wonderful friend for almost 30 years, was a very unique individual. I always admired him for his positive attitude, his perseverance, and for his ability to put other people at ease in his presence. Jack had a way about him that always left you glad to have seen him or spoken with him. My favorite memory was having an occasional lunch with Jack at Kelly’s Roast Beef, overlooking the ocean. I hope that I, and those of us who were similarly touched by Jack, can honor his spirit by being positive, perseverant, and personable ourselves, to the standard that Jack set in his life. I will miss you, my friend.
Andrew, Dennis and Marilyn,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Jack was a great guy and always a joy to be around. He raised 3 really great people. On a sad day like this it is always important to remember all the great times you had with him.
I did not have the pleasure of knowing your Dad but from what I have seen over the years he was blessed with 3 great children. May your many memories carry you through these tough days ahead. May you all stay strong and may he rest in peace.
Andrew, Dennis and Marilyn:
Sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. I loved talking to him and hearing his great optimistic attitude. I always admired the way he reinvented himself…at an age when most would slow down, he started a new company and loved what he did…a fighter until then end.
