Dear Mr Callahan, Jean and Carol,
Well I have known your mom for a very long time. I knew I had a friend in her from the first meeting. We shared alot of the same opinions about things. I was a good audience for her humor and she was a good audience for mine. My most recent and happy memory was sitting in various locations in the oppressive heat, watching “the boys” play ball. We had our own summer home. It most of the time was in a chair on a hill and sharing in the neighborly interaction of a town we love . What sweet summer memories. I remember Timmy getting carried on the shoulders of his team-mates and Jack getting pulled out to pitch and pitching a no-hitter. We were under the stars watching our own little stars. We watched and enjoyed every minute together. It was so right all of us being there together sharing in all the lessons a boy would learn from that experience. It will be one of the few times the boys can look back to and remember siblings, parents and grandparents sharing in the same joy. Another place I shared your moms company was at church. She loved her faith and was dedicated to it, and now is in the company of the good Lord. I will miss her and will cherish the memories we shared. It was so much fun! So much fun!
Thoughts and prayers,
Mary Stenson
Mr. Callahan, Jean and Carol,
It was always a pleasure to see your mom she was so friendly and fun to be around. Each time I saw her she asked for my family and children and was genuinely interested in their well being. She will be missed by all of us, but especially by her family and grandchildren.
Love,
Carmel
