To Father Fergus’ family and brother friars-
my condolences on the loss of a good and faithful priest who never gave up- he was always kind and encouraging as a confessor – and now he is enjoying his eternal reward-
May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God ,rest in peace. Amen.
My buddy my confessor a great priest as well as a man rest in peace my friend.
Thank you Uncle Fergus, for being an important, caring, thoughtful, funny, overall great Uncle to me and my brothers. You stayed in our lives, even after we lost our father and you were also there with us from the time we were born . You were extremly important to my mother your whole life, and and important figure to the Callahan family as wel, and many others.
I’m think we all know exactly where you are right now.
Love Sean.
Love, Sean
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. It was our pleasure to care for Fr. Healey and experience his warm and welcoming smile and his thoughtful words.
You were a great man, priest and the best confessor, counselor, spiritual advisor and friend that anyone could ever hope to have. You were like a surrogate father to me. Thank you for marrying us with Fr. Freitas. You were a special part of our wedding day. We love you now and always. May you enjoy your well-earned spiritual reward in Heaven. With our deepest love.

Father Fergus was one of my favorite priests when attending daily mass at Saint Anthony’s since 1999. I will miss him dearly. I recall his onging theme of ” if you fall down, get back up and keep going. Don’t give up because God loves you and is always close.” Thank you Father for your happy smile and sincere faith. May Our Blessed Mother greet you in welcome in Heaven with those comforting words, “I have heard my Son speak well of you.”
Good and Faithful Servant, now enter into your Master’s joy!
Fergus, Ar dheis Dé go raibh d’anam dilís. Laudamus Jesu Christi!
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal;
Love leaves a memory no one can steal
Thanks for the memories and thanks for the love
Until we meet again, may God Hold you in the palm of his hand.
