I recieved word of John’s passing from Aunt Annie Hazel Dunston in Henderson. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I am so sorry for your loss. Know that the family members are thought of. Be encouraged and know that God holds him in his arms and peace is his covering. God bless you. I am John’s second cousin. I remember him visiting a Dunston family reunion in North Carolina some years ago. I knew Great Uncle Johnny very well. My father is Melvin Dunston, Sr. My grandmother Pauline and Great Uncle Johnny were siblings.
The Dunston reunion this year is at Satterwhite Point, Sept /14/2013. Please keep in touch.
I also have relatives on my mother’s side in Mattapan. They are Scotts and Alexanders.
There will NEVER be another John Dunston (Once a Bibletone, always a Bibletone) You always sung “Build Me A Cabin”. Now you have entered that Cabin for your eternal rest. I Love You Uncle John.
