Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all as you celebrate the life of a kindred spirit, whose strong faith and love of family always shone brightly. We will miss you always Aunt Trix and remember our many visits with you with great fondness.
I will always remember my Aunt Trix. She was a wonderful woman with a great sense of humour and joie de vivre. I have mementos of hers (luncheon dishes, quilts) that I will treasure now more than ever. While I cannot attend her wake and funeral service – I will light a candle in her memory at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in St. John’s Newfoundland. RIP.

When Aunt Trix came “home” to Newfoundland for her summer visits- I was always so excited. She wore bright summer colors and always made us happy! She was the ring leader – with her sister Mary and her bothers John and Vince- she would play cards and enjoy a late night “cupa” tea- all the while telling stories and laughing. I have nothing but wonderful, warm memories of my very dear Aunt.

We fondly remember Trix as a kind, loving and unselfish lady who
always looked and found the brighter side of life. She made sure she had time for us on her many visits to Newfoundland whether to attend a birthday party, a wedding or just spend the night so we could play cards until the wee hours. They were all great times, lots of fun and wonderful memories!
You’ve lived a great life Trix and now rest in peace.

I have fond memories of Aunt Trix and her visits home to Nfld. She was my father Paddy’s sister and of course always came to Calvert where she was born , to spend time with the relatives there. She had a joyful spirit and a great zest for life and as young children we enjoyed just being around her. Rest in peace Aunt Trix ,your journey is done ; we will always remember you .

Her fiery red hair described her personality too… fiery and full of life! Aunt Trix was always up for a game of cards with Bill, Lar, Mary and Mom. The cards and laughing would go on all night. The kids always enjoyed her visits and carry many fond memeories with them of their Aunt Trix. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate her life. We’ll miss you Aunt Trix
