I am so sad to hear that Sister Denis has left us. I was a student at St. Clare’s from 1956 to 1960 and was a student of her’s for those years. Sister Denis was a great teacher and always had a smile for her students. She will be in my thoughts and prayers and in my memory forever.
I am so sorry to hear about Sr. Mary Denis. I have wonderful memories of her at Mt.Alvernia. She was my Latin and French teacher and my freshman homeroom teacher from 1952 to 1956. When I met her several years ago, she still remembered everything and everyone from our class. She was a kind and loving teacher and an unforgettable woman. She will be in my prayers.
