Joan Kavanaugh, 76, of Quincy, January 15, 2013.  Beloved wife of 51 years to Howard Kavanaugh.  Loving mother of John Kavanaugh and his wife Carolyn of Glen Ellyn, IL, Donna Dennehey and her husband Brian of Weymouth, Carolyn O’Neil and her husband Steve of Reading and Lt. Cmdr. Michael Kavanaugh, M.D. and his wife Roberta of La Mesa, CA.  Devoted Nanny to Christopher, Ryan, Patrick, Timothy, Nicholas, Jill, Grace, and Maggie.  Sister of Mary Long of Hingham, Laura Griffin of Milton, and Willmore Holbrow of Diamond Bar, CA.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Joan was predeceased by her brother Frederick Holbrow.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary Church, Crescent Street, West Quincy, Saturday, January 19th at 10:00 AM.  Visiting hours in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, on Friday from 4-8 PM.  Relatives and friends invited.  Interment Saint Mary Cemetery, Quincy
