Peter J. Murphy, age 70, of Milton, Nov. 10, beloved son of the late David L. and Dorothy V. (Dever) Murphy. Devoted brother of David L. Murphy, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Milton, Richard F. Murphy of Chelsea, Dorothy L. Banks and her husband Robert of Scituate and Philip D. Murphy and his wife Kate of Milton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, grandniece and grandnephews. A graveside service will be held in Milton Cemetery, Friday, Nov. 16, at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends invited. If desired contributions in Peter’s name may be sent to William B. Rice Eventide Home, 215 Adams Street, Quincy, MA 02169.

Pete, i miss you soo much you were always there for me when i needed it most. You taught me how to swim, drive a car and get my license on the first try, and got me drinking milk and eating coffee ice cream. You have touched soo many lives and you truly are an amazing man. You will be missed by us all i wish you didnt have to leave but you are in peace now and i will one day meet you again i love you pete always and forever
