I had the pleasure of meeting Alice this summer when introduced to her by her niece, Sharon Brown. The time I spent in her company was immensely pleasant. I was sorry that I no longer lived in Boston, because I felt that I had found a person with whom I would like to cultivate a friendship.
Alice: …. going home like a shooting star!
With deep regrets,

Aunt Alice, I finally got to meet you and Aunt Ruth over a very short weekend visit. I did’nt know what to expect and was kind of nervous. You both put me at ease and for that I will be forever grateful. Thanks for allowing me into your life for that short period. I know that you are in a better place and for that I feel gratitude.
I also know that you are looking down on your twin and trying to keep her spirits up through us, the ones you left behind. I will do my best to stay in touch with her on your behalf. I wish that we had more time together, but as always God’s will is done. Rest in Peace. Much Love……
