Sending heartfelt sympathy to all the family at Dick’s passing, an old and dear friend of the Whalens. He was an intelligent, witty, musical, charming man who, together with his wife Kay, had always been part of the history of our life. Not to mention being my professor of Spanish at Boston State College. So much fun it was to be in his class and see him as both family friend and superb teacher. His life was a long one, full, and well-lived. May he rest in God’s eternal peace.
