Katherine Byrne (Marcellino) Duggan
Katherine Byrne (Marcellino) Duggan, of Brookline, formerly of Milton, died at home on September 7, 2012. Born in Boston, MA on August 30, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Samuel and Katherine (Byrne) Marcellino. Raised in Milton, she was a graduate of Jeanne d’Arc Academy . Prior to her retirement, Katherine had been a buyer for Filenes department store.
Katherine enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Maeve.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, Amy M. Duggan, and her granddaughter, Maeve Laslie, both of Brookline. Sister of Donna Marcellino of Olympia , Washington, Lora Sheptyck of Eastham, Samuel Marcellino of Ohio, Thomas Marcellino of New Sharon, ME and the late Jan Smith. Also survived by her former husband, Joseph M. Duggan of Beacon Hill.
Funeral service will be held in Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave. EAST MILTON on Wednesday, September 12 at Noon. Visiting hours at the funeral home Tuesday 6-9 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.

It was my great pleasure to treat Ms. Duggan over the past several years at Tufts Medical Center. It was sad to hear of her passing. Condolences to the entire family from the staff of the Diabetes Clinic.
