Irene E. (Braun) Roberts, of Taunton, after a short illness, August 20, 2012. Irene was a member of Companion of the Forest, a group which raised money for different charities. Beloved wife of the late William L Roberts III, she was the loving mother of Irene Gamel of Taunton and Diane Jolliemore of Brockton. Irene is survived by her two sisters, Phyllis Sweetland of Connecticut and Alice Morrill of Maine; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service in All Saints Espiscopal Church, 209 Ashmont St., Dorchester, Friday at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
