To the family of Ms. Clara Bell Exum,
In an hour such as this our souls are stirred to their very depths, and we face the most difficult task, which God assigns, placing to final rest one who is dear to us. With our hearts torn and sadden, we shall not speak glowing words of praise. There is praise enough in our hearts already. No words of ours could add more.
Let us not dwell upon the virtues, which we have lost by her passing, but upon the glory, which she has gained. For mourning the lost which we feel so keenly only makes our hearts heavy but the realization that she has gone to a far more glorious existence should lift a burden from our hearts, even as the burden of earthly life has been lifted from her heart. Before Jesus left this world he said, “in my father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you”. Please believe that life is far more beautiful beyond the grave. “If it were not so I would have told you”. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

At times like these there are no words that can take away the pain of losing a loved one to the enemy “Death”. All that we can do is put our trust in Jehovah and lean on Him through the comfort of the scriptures. If a man should die, can he live again?
Hear the promise God has made:
He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand.J
