My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I volunteer with the book program at the UFPC, and Arthur would always find the time to talk-my-ear-off between his tours. Arthur was like a father-figure to me, providing pearls of wisdom as I grappled with life’s unpredictability. Oh how I enjoyed our conversations about life, liberty, love, Catholicism, European History, and all the pursuits of happiness. I will always remember Arthur as a stellar man, who led his life through quiet example. Arthur’s virtue of loyalty could be seen most notably in his love and devotion to his family, but also, undeniably, in his passion towards his country. He even got me to enjoy history, and that’s saying a lot! May the loving memories held deep within your heart help soothe your spirit. I will miss Arthur dearly. <3 k

Dear Alma and family,
We are deaply saddened by the news of Arthur’s passing. We enjoyed him so much and were able to attend many wreath laying ceremonies at UFPC. He was such a gentleman and always made us feel welcome when visiting the church. Twice a year I had the honor of making and laying the wreaths for Abigail and Louisa Catherine’s graves. I know Arthur had a “soft” spot for Louisa Catherine and would try and make her wreath a little special for him. The UFPC will not be the same without him. It was an honor to know him.
My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. I’m so sorry for your loss and the loss of a great man. He will be missed by all.
The Ducharme Family;
We are so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. May the thoughts and prayers of friends and family help you through this difficult time.

I used to see Arthur when visiting the church and Adams graves. He was always so kind and excited about the church and the special remembrances of the presidents birthdays. He treated me like an old friend each time we met. I knew of his love for Louisa Adams and was so glad I was able to give him the signature of her father. I was recently at the church and heard of his passing. He will be greatly missed.
