Oliver G. “Biff” Kelley
Oliver G. “Biff” Kelley, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, Wednesday September 28, 2011. He was 74 years old. Born in Buffalo, New York and raised in Newton and Scituate, he was a graduate of LaSalle Military Academy, Long Island, NY and Boston College. Mr. Kelley was an independent insurance broker, currently with Charles F. Murphy Insurance, Braintree. An avid golfer, he was a past president of the Massachusetts Golf Association and member of the Milton Hoosic Club. Beloved husband of Patricia M.(Graham) Kelley. Loving father of Oliver Jr. of Quincy, Katherine Elizabeth and her husband Kenneth Whalley of Topsfield, Pamela of Hingham, Juliann and her husband Patrick Concannon of Scituate and Jennifer and her husband Timothy Drain of Mansfield. Cherished grandfather of Kate and Henry Whalley, Owen and Caroline Concannon and Patrick, Matthew and Molly Drain. Dear brother of Ellen Kelley White of Scituate. Also survived by two nieces and seven nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, Reedsdale Road at Randolph Avenue, Milton, Monday October 3 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Sunday 3-7 PM and Monday 9:00-10:00 AM. Interment Milton Cemetery. If one desires, donations in Biff’s memory may be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061 or to Answer House, G Street, South Boston, MA 02127.
