We smile when we think of the twinkle in Imelda’s eye and know that “her Jim” is smiling to have her with him. Imelda’s welcomed me to her home many years ago when I first moved to Boston. Throughout the years she renewed that welcome and her genuine interest in the well-being of our family. A wonderful Boston lady.
Very sincerely, Jamie and Rudy
Imelda is back with her Jim – the man of her life – and for that, we can all be glad. That said, I hate losing her. She was wise, charming, and positively hilarious. One of the funniest people I ever met. And I never met a better mother, sister, friend, colleague, and confidante(sp?). In her essence, Imelda was all about love. Her legacy is the love she passed on to all who knew her. Rest In Peace.

My Dear Aunt Imelda was the best story teller I have ever known, weaving sad and happy together in one great world of joy.
To all my cousins, I share your loss of this wonderful woman, wife, mother and grandmother. Truly the finest of “Lace Curtain Irish”, and sadly the passing of a Driscoll generation.
“Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet”
-Wm. Butler Yeats
