I have known Michael since I was 23 years old, half of my life. I met him my first day working at New York Carpet World. There was never a bigger people-person than Michael. He grew up in a rough neighborhood and he could easily gone the wrong route in life, but he was a survivor and he LOVED life to the fullest. He was quirky in his own unique way and few people realize how intelligent he was. He was the only person that could ever give me a run for my money in the trivia department. Michael was part of my home for many years when he lived in Michigan. Him and my ex-husband were best friends. Many people don’t know he was Mr Tall Michigan of 1985. He actually kept the trophy in the back seat of his car, the grey Probe he loved so much, to show people. He loved to sell and was good at it. He loved his friends and family most of all and centered his life around making other people smile. He was like a brother to me and I will miss him dearly. There will never be another like Michael D.
Susan – Words cannot express how very sorry I am for Michael’s passing. Michael was such a wonderful husband, friend, uncle and so much more to those who knew him. I will cherish my memories of him, and hold you close in my heart. I love you my dear friend!!
Michael,
I enjoyed the time I spent with you at family Gatherings.
I always found myself hanging out with you because you are so down to earth and easy going. You truely are the coolest uncle. I will miss you my friend.
Rest In Peace
Love,
-Michael Ramondi

I met Michael D in 1993 while working in sales at New York Carpet World in Southgate, Michigan. He had a personality that was infectous. The things he would say and the phrases he would use were priceless. I went on a golf trip with Michael to Myrtle Beach and will never forget the laughs and fun we had. I will miss him, and when I think about him, I will smile.
Susan,
I am so sorry to hear the news about Michael. I remember our conversations about him. My deepest sympathy.
