Rosemary A. Holub
Rosemary A. Holub, a retired licensed social worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, died suddenly Monday June 20, 2011. Born and raised in Milton, she was a graduate of Milton High School and Suffolk University. Rosemary was an active volunteer and fundraiser. Beloved daughter of the late Raymond A. Holub Sr. and Alice F. (Murphy) Holub. Sister of the late Raymond A. Holub Jr. and Barbara A. LaCambria. Sister-in-law of Beverly J. Holub of New York and Frank LaCambria of Milton. Aunt of Elizabeth Kauffmann and Raymond A. Holub III. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, Reedsdale Road at Randolph Avenue, Milton, Friday July 1 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Thursday 4-7 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of the many charities in which Rosemary was a tireless volunteer – Children’s Hospital, Mass Soldiers Legacy Fund for Children of Fallen War Heroes, Cradles to Crayons or the Barbara A. I’m so sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Rosemary. You all are in my thoughts and prayers .
I grew up across the street from Rosemary. Another neighbor told me Rosemary wished for a fast departure so whatever happened medically may in retrospect have been a blessing. Now Rosemary is reunited with her sister Barbara who went through so very much and her brother – Raymond II. May the Light of God bless all who were touched by Rosemary doing God’s work here on Earth.
