Thomas J. Fitzgerald
Thomas J. Fitzgerald, a retired Boston Public Schools employee, died at The Atrium in Quincy Wednesday April 20, 2011. He was 86 years old.
Born and raised in Dorchester, he was a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Fitzgerald retired after over 40 years with the Boston Public Schools as an audio-visual technician. He was a longtime resident of Quincy.
Beloved husband of the late Barbara A. (Curley). Loving father of Paula MacPherson and her husband William of Watertown, Wisconsin and Thomas J. Fitzgerald and his wife Catherine Trembly of Quincy. Grandfather of Caitlin and Megan MacPherson of Watertown, WI. Brother of Marie McSweeney of Quincy and the late Walter Fitzgerald. Also survived by extended family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Ann Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy, Tuesday, April 26 at 10:00 AM. Relatives & friends are invited Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Monday 4 – 8 PM. Interment in New Calvary Cemetery.

My husband was a resident with Tom at the Atrium. My family would like to extend our sympathy to Tom’s. Tom was a wonderful, sweet gentleman. We enjoyed his smile. The Doherty Family

My sincere condolences on Tom’s passing. He was a very special person in the Cameron family life and a great friend to my father and Uncle Chet. We have a lot of great memories over the years including- Beanpot games and golf in Plymouth.
He was a great man and will be missed.
