Pasquale J. Zona
Pasquale J. Zona, a retired accountant, died at McCarthy Care Center, Sandwich, Wednesday March 16, 2011. He was 93 years old. Born in Boston, he served in the United States Army during World War II. Beloved husband of 70 years to Alice M. (Walsh) Zona of East Sandwich. Loving father of Jacqueline P. Coffman of Alexandria, VA, Lois A. Martin of Stow, MA and Joseph J. Zona of Arlington. Pa to Brian, Craig, Keith, David, Christopher, Brittany and Chelsea. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren. Brother of Santa C. Zona of Quincy. Funeral Service at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Monday March 21 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s name may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis MA 02601.

I already miss you, Pa. I have you to thank for my love of the Red Sox – you showed me that the players really can hear you when you yell at the TV. 🙂 And of course you literally fed my love of Oreos. I’ll always remember our days of playing catch and the smile that my son (“what a boy”) always brought to your face.
