Alda Rodrigues Oliveira died at Caritas Carney Hospital, Dorchester, suddenly Sunday February 6, 2011. She was 79 years old.

Born in Fogo, Cape Verde, she moved to Boston many years ago. Daughter of the late Conrado J. and Balbina Rodrigues Goncalves. Wife of the late Mario Oliveira. Beloved mother of Joao Oliveira, DelFino Oliveira, Manuel Oliveira, Candida Oliveira, Maria Oliveira, Maria Afonso, Balbina Barbosa and the late Philipe Oliveira. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Patrick Church, Dudley Street at Blue Hill Avenue, Roxbury, Thursday February 10 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Wednesday 4-9 PM. Interment New Calvary Cemetery.
