Hamilton Beach will not be the same. We will miss him.He was a good friend!
Uncle Walter you did a great job filling your brother’s shoes and being a grandfather to me. You were always there to pick me up on a Friday and take me to Nana’s house and if you couldn’t make Mark was there in the Volks waggin Bug. I loved our trips out to the sandbar in Walter’s boat where you taught us how to live off the land. I hope you are happy up there with Aunt Katie, Nana, Maddie and Dribzy, Commander Joe and Gladis Flaherty and the rest of the gang. I’m sure you are all looking for the Beastie Beast.
Miss you!!

Walter McGovern was one of the best. This morning at his funeral Mass, I was reminded of a comment that he had made some twenty five years ago and that was: “you need to leave a man better off than he was when you first met him”.
