a former substitute teacher for the Boston Public Schools, died Sunday January 24 at Golden Living Ceneter, West Newton. He was 68 years old.

Born in Boston, he was a longtime resident of Dorchester.

Beloved son of the late David P. and Margaret J. (Finn) McSweeney. Brother of David P. McSweeney of Wayne, PA, Denis M. McSweeney of Milton and Kathleen E. Scanlan of Marshfield. Timothy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private interment took place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
