John D. “Jack” Wallace

83, of Milton, died at Milton Hospital on December 28, 2009.

Born in Camden, NJ, Jack served in the US Navy during World War II, from 1944-1946. He was a graduate of Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania in 1950. After college, he worked as a sales representative in the records and television divisions of RCA. Jack and his wife traveled to Hawaii, Japan, and Hong Kong on business trips. In 1973, Jack entered a new career in commercial real estate in the Boston area. He later joined his wife, Josephine “Jo” Wallace in residential real estate for the Jack Conway Company.

Jack was a Past President of the Milton-Hoosic Club in the 1970s. He enjoyed swimming, golf, and performing in the tambourine line for the popular “Hoosic Follies” shows.

Beloved husband of the late Josephine “Jo” (Barnum) Wallace. Father of David Johnson Wallace and his wife Judy Lloyd of Brunswick, ME and Alfred W. Trenkler of Milton. Brother of the late Thomas Wallace and Hope Wallace Reeder. Uncle of Jill Wallace McNeil of Haverford, PA, Gregory Reeder of Birchrunville, PA and Hunter Reeder of Augusta, WV.

Memorial Service at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 535 Canton Avenue, Milton, Saturday, January 30 at 1:00 PM.
