age 78, of Quincy, formerly of Milton, died at Milton Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Boston, he was a resident of Milton for over 41 years, moving to Quincy in 1973. For over 31 years he was employed by the Town of Milton at Milton Cemetery.

An avid bowler, he also enjoyed ice skating at the Saint Moritz Rink in Quincy, and Skiing.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nina L. (D’Ambrosio) Forde.
He is also survived by three sisters, Natalie Barritt of Weymouth, Charlotte Mims of VA and Judith Forde of Quincy. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church Milton, Wednesday, October 21 at 12 Noon. Interment Milton Cemetery.
Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Tuesday 4-8PM.
