56, of Dorchester, died at his home after a brief illness on August 14, 2009.

Gene was born in Boston and was employed for 35 years at Intronics in Norwood. He was a Sales Director at Intronics, a company that designs and manufactures standard and custom AC/DC converters, function modules, and analog signal processors for wide variety of applications.

Beloved husband of Mary E. (Craig) Stancato. Father of Sarah R. and Eugene C. Stancato, both of Dorchester. Son of Anthony D. and Rosalie M. (Stella) Stancato of Dorchester. Brother of Anthony Stancato of Lunenburg, Vincent Stancato of Milton and Ruth Pistorino of Weymouth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Brendan Church, Gallivan Blvd., Dorchester on Wednesday, August 19 at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.

Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St. DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Tuesday, 4-8PM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
