retired assistant director of ABCD in Dorchester, died Monday August 10 at his home in Dorchester. He was 84 years old.

Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston Public Schools. Mr. O’Neill retired in 1987.

Beloved husband of Patricia E. (McGrath) O’Neill. Loving father of David X. O’Neill of Dorchester and Patrick J. O’Neill of CT. Brother of Richard P. O’Neill of Weymouth and the late Sr. DePaul C.S.J. and Margaret Santosuosso.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated will be celebrated in St. Ann’s Church, Neponset, Friday August 14 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
