a retired stockbroker, died suddenly Saturday May 9 at Westerly Hospital, Westerly, RI. He was 72 years old.

Born and raised in Dorchester, MA, he was a graduate of Boston College High School, Dorchester and College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA. Mr. Walsh was a member of Weekapaug Golf Club, Westerly, RI and an active participant in the Rhode Island Senior Games. A resident of Narragansett, RI, he was a longtime resident of Milton, MA.

Deborah and her husband Daniel Lutz of Medfield, James S. and his wife Donna Walsh of Weymouth, Michael J. Walsh of San Francisco, Mary Ellen Walsh of Watertown and Stephen Walsh and his fiancé Jennifer Guarino of Malden. Grandfather of Madeline Lutz, Henry Lutz, James Walsh and Joseph Walsh. Brother of John J. Walsh of Dover, Robert F. Walsh of Boston and Donald A. Walsh of Dorchester.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Milton, Thursday May 14 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours in Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., MILTON Wednesday 4–8 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
