William Lawrence “Larry” Nannery, DMD
Dr. William . Lawrence “Larry” Nannery, 81, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 27th at the Ellis House in Norwood. Born on June 2, 1934 in Boston, to the late Wm. L. and Mary Nannery. Larry grew up in Roslindale and attended Roslindale High. He went on to attend Boston University and then graduated from Tufts Dental School. Larry enjoyed a fulfilling career in dentistry practicing in East Milton for over 40 years. He was president of the South Shore Dental Society, Milton Kiwanis Club and was involved in other charitable organizations. Larry is survived by Diletta, his best friend and wife of over 50 years, his son Dr. Mark Nannery and wife Maura, daughters, Lora Thompson and her husband Jean, daughter, Sondra Castingetti and her husband Gerry all residing in Canton. He had a great love for his 7 grandchildren, Micaela, Erika, Jackie, Chiara, Luke, Jess and Nico. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Adams St at Brook Rd. Milton on Thursday, July 2 at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4-8 PM in Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON. Interment Private.

Diletta, Mark, Lora, Sondra and family, Sorry for your loss. I’ll always have wonderful memories of sitting in Larry’s dentist chair and the two of us going back and forth with something of comical interest. Many smiles considering he was filling a tooth.
