Catherine C. (Wallace) O’Brien, in Dorchester, January 5, 2013 age 87. Beloved wife of the late Francis X. O’Brien Captain Boston F.D. Loving mother of Paul R. O’Brien retired Dist. Chief Dist 8 Boston F.D. and his wife MaryAnn of Dorchester, Stephen T. O’Brien and his wife Kelley of Marshfield, Mary F. De Mariano and her husband Mark of Dorchester, Catherine C. Crum and her husband Stephen of CO, Patricia Olson and her husband James of Dorchester, Anthony O’Brien Lt. Boston F.D. E-18 and his wife Nancy of Marshfield, Barbara McKenna and her husband Joseph of West Roxbury, Sean M. O’Brien Lt. Boston F.D. E-7 and his wife Patricia of Dorchester, and the late Francis X. O’Brien and his wife Dotti of Dorchester. Sister-in-law of Anna Griffin of Braintree and Patricia O’Brien of West Roxbury. Catherine also had many late brothers and sisters and is survived by 28 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Church, Dorchester, Wednesday January 9, at 9 o’clock.. Visiting hours in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS Tuesday, 3-8 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. The Family would like donations made in Catherine’s memory to Leahy- Holloran Community Center 1 Worell St. Dorchester, MA 02122.

The last of the moms from King Street! Can’t you see them all sitting on the porch at 19 King while the stick ball game enters the umpteenth inning? They were an awesome bunch of women and the torch is carried pretty well too. She will always remain in my prayers. She seemed to be a direct line to the Almighty~
