Joseph G. “Joe” Lannan, of Milton, died on May 6, 2011 at his home after an illness. A graduate of Milton High School and Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Joe was the former Founder and Owner of South Shore Wholesale Tire Co. and Lannan Nautiques. Joe also worked in the Public Relations Department for Boston Edison where he broke the all time Speaker’s Bureau record for 86 speeches in one year. He was a late member of Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, where he broke all eight fund raising records as Loaned Executive.

He was the loving father of Joseph M. and his wife Beverly of Windham, NH and  Larry Lannan of Milton. Brother of the late Ronald Lannan. Grandfather of Holly, Lauri, Nicole, Alissa and Lauren Lannan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary of the Hills Church, Milton on Saturday, May 14 at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. A Visiting hour will be held on Saturday, 9:30-10:30AM at the Dolan Funeral Home 460 Granite Ave. MILTON. Interment Milton Cemetery.
