John J. Regan (Ret. Lt., MFD)
John J. Regan, a retired lieutenant with the Milton Fire Department, died at Quincy Medical Center, Quincy, Tuesday September 7, 2010. He was 53 years old.
Born in Boston, he was raised in Jamaica Plain and graduated from Catholic Memorial High School (1974) and Northeastern University (1979). Mr. Regan joined the Milton Fire Department in 1984, retiring after 25 years in September 2009.
Loving father of Joseph Regan of Waltham, Colleen Regan of Boston, John Regan and Moira Regan, both of Mansfield. Son of the late Joseph V. and Mary (Connors) Regan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Milton, Monday September 13 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Sunday 3-6 PM. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Before Jack joined the Milton Fire Department, I worked with him at the Northeastern University Public Safety Division. He was a great person, a really funny colleague; we always knew if Jack was working it wouldn’t be a boring shift. I am so saddened to hear of his passing.
