Oria Lee (Howell) Curry, of Boston, May 31, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Curry. Loving mother of Gladys Curry of Boston, Joshua Curry of GA and the late Wilbert Hewett. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and a host of great & great-great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held Friday June 11 at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS at 11 AM. Visiting 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.

To the Curry Family,
There are no words suitable to tell you how deeply sadened I was to hear of Grandma Curry’s passing. But take comfort in knowing she is home in the loving arms of the Lord. Her presence wil surely be missed. Grandma Curry was like a second Grandmother to me and my brother and sisters. While living in Boston we were never very far from one another, and although we may have moved around from place to place, but we NEVER lost contact with each other. I thank God for the priviledge of knowing such a strong woman and her family. I wil miss her sweet smile and her warm hugs! Wow, it seems like only yesterday. I can’t believe that I have known your family for more than forty years when you first came to Boston on Brookford street!!
I want you to know that I will continue to pray for your family. May God bless you and keep you during this difficult time.

You have always took great care of your family and friends and I feel so much admiration and love for you. Ms. Curry will be truly missed.
