Sharon Lanett Dailey
Sharon Lanett Dailey, beloved daughter of Mildred and Charles Dailey, was born on January 15, 1976 in Boston, Massachusetts. Sharon is survived by her parents, older brother Larry Simmons, sister Letha Dorway, and brother Timmy Dailey. She leaves behind her two loving children, daughter Brianna Rose Dailey, 10 years old, and son, Nathaniel Charles Mark, three years old. She leaves her three nieces, Jasmine AnnMarie, Shavonne Aaliyah and Simone, three nephews, Tyrese, Jaylen and Devonte Dailey, her partner Michael Mark of several years, and a host of Aunts and Uncles that are spread out from Massachusetts to Alabama and everywhere in between. Sharon lost her battle with cancer on July 19th, 2015. Sharon, also known as “Boobie”, grew up at 90 Blake Street, lived the majority of her happy and productive life at Blake Street, and took her final breath at Blake Street. Blake Street is missing an Angel.
Sharon was a dedicated mother and a fighter. Her beautiful spirit and loving energy made everyone to want to be around her. She was kind, friendly, happy, positive, sweet, upbeat, silly, caring, and loving. Her smile was infectious and her laugh instantly cheered you up. She was always supportive and encouraging to her family, friends and even random strangers she would meet.
Sharon graduated Lynnfield High School in 1994 and went on to Alabama State College (ASU). She returned to Boston five years later and started her career at the Tufts Dental School of Medicine, where Group Practice 8 was her staple. Sharon was a dedicated worker and gave 110% of herself every day. She received numerous awards, positive evaluations, and attended several appreciation dinners to honor her hard work. She enjoyed her work and co-workers so much that even when she was under the weather it took her supervisor’s prodding for her to seek medical attention.
