Sabrina M. Kelley
Sabrina M. Kelley , 19, of Norwell, MA passed away on April 3rd, 2015 from complications of her long battle with cystic fibrosis. Sabrina was a graduate
of Norwell High School, a freshman at the University of Alabama and a proud member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She was more than a best friend; everyone that ever met her knew that she was the light of their life. Beautiful, genuine, hilarious and perfect, Sabrina was the best of all of us. No one has ever been more loved than our Sabrina and no one has ever lovedmore than our Sabrina. Fearless in her fight against cystic fibrosis she never once asked “why me?” Instead she took every chance she had to spread happiness to others. For 18 years, Sabrina’s Shootout was an annual reminder of the power her love and her spirit could inspire raising over $400,000 for Children’s Hospital Boston. She was the soul of her family, with her dad Brian, mother Pam and brother Matty forever grateful and forever thankful for the love she showed and inspired in them. There has never been a more beautiful person, on the inside and out, than Sabrina. “There are no happy endings. Endings are the saddest part, so just give me a happy middle, and a very happy start.” Her spark will never leave us and her love will forever live on. We love you Sabrina and we will always be together, forever and always. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington St. Rte 53, Norwell on Friday, April 10 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday, 3-8 PM in St. Helen Church.

Dear Brian, Pam, Matty, My deepest sympathies on your unimaginable loss. Although I never had the privilege of meeting your daughter I feel compelled to write to you, I am a father of three ages18-28 and when I saw Sabrina’s photo in the paper this morning I was struck by her radiant goodness and beauty, it moved me to tears and reading the incredible moving words about her confirmed this was a remarkable woman who, although she lived only eighteen years her impact on those who had the honor to know her will be profound and long lasting, I am not a very religious person but seeing Sabrina this morning I am certain, this is the face of an angel and her inspiring courage will endure and inspire all the qualities you daughter so unselfishly shared with those who knew and loved her . Bless your family and know Sabrina living so warmly in your hearts will never be truly gone. sincerly, Greg Vara
I didn’t know your daughter or your family, but am also the parent of a college freshmen with Cystic Fibrosis. I saw her picture on Boston.com and just clicked on the obituary. She looked like the picture of health as does my daughter. This hit very close to home. We have probably crossed paths at Children’s over the years. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sabrina was amazing girl. She will be remembered forever.
Pam, Brian, and Matty,
I don’t even know where to begin? Sabrina was a shining light to everyone she came in contact with. It was an honor to care for her. I cannot get over how BIG your family loved, everyday! You sacrificed so much as parents for both your children. You are a true example of what God would want us all to be for one another!
Much love and many condolences. I know your hearts are breaking.

On behalf of the Bostonian Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of this lovely young woman. We were lucky to call her a sister for however briefly she was among our members. She will surely be missed at the U of Alabama and at home.
