Gregory J. Deskins
Gregory J. Deskins, a finish carpenter, died Tuesday December 2, 2014. He was 39 years old. Born in Boston, he was raised in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School. Greg’s family and friends will always remember his quick wit and ability to make people laugh and his willingness to help out. Beloved son of David A. and Elaine F. (Ralph) Deskins of Quincy. Brother of Pamela and her husband Stephen Zanowski of Cheyenne, WY, Susan and her husband Brian Collett of Hanover and the late David A. Deskins Jr. Loving uncle of Zachary and Kaitlyn Zanowski and Will and Meghan Collett. Grandson of Joseph Ralph of Quincy and the late Mary Ralph and Guy and Letha Deskins. Greg is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Joseph Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy, Saturday December 6 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, Friday 4-7 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
