Clifton R. “Cliff” DiTullio, of Boca Raton, FL, and Milton, was born June 9, 1926 in Boston to Michele and Maria DiTullio. Cliff spent his early years in Dorchester followed by his family moving to Milton where he remained to raise his own family with Louise M. DiTullio whom he married October 4, 1952.

Cliff was a graduate of Boston College High School. After graduating in 1944, he joined the Navy serving in California during World War II. Upon his return in 1946, Cliff went to Boston College studying economics and graduated in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

In 1948, Cliff obtained his insurance license and founded the DiTullio Insurance Agency, Inc. After graduating from college, Cliff worked for a time in the construction business. This eventually led to his full-time focus of insurance services to his friends in the construction industry.

Cliff enjoyed life to the fullest. He bought his first plane at eighteen and  later learned to fly helicopters. He spent many happy times with Louise and their five children, Diane, Richard, Roy, Peter and Paul, sharing his hobbies of flying, skiing, snowmobiling and golfing.

While Louise remained on the ground until their children were grown, Cliff buzzed the sky above her. While Louise stayed at the foot of the ski slopes to tend to everyone’s needs, Cliff led his line of five children up and down the slopes. Cliff later bought Louise her first set of golf clubs and their competition on the course began.

Cliff lived to make everyone laugh and none laughed more with him than his five children and his ten grandchildren, Christopher, John, Emily, Paige, Hana, Corinne, Evan, Lauren, Timothy and Kate who called him “Nono”.

Upon his retirement, Cliff became a resident of Boca Raton, Fl, and summered in Milton. Cliff was a former Milton Rotary Club President and member of The Country Club at Boca Raton, FL and Wollaston Golf Club, Milton.

At the age of eighty-eight, Cliff had done everything he ever dreamed of and more. Cliff passed away peacefully at his Milton home where his final days were spent with his family by his side.

A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton, Friday August 22 at 10:30 AM.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting  hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, Thursday  4-8 P.M.  Interment Milton Cemetery.
