Steve, thanks for coaching me through all the years in the rag business ,real estate tranactions and being my friend . You will be truly missed by so many of us..May God watch over you.
Steve…
What a true gentleman you are. There are many moments to life that we take for granted, and you were one of them. I am so happy to have known you and I’ll live with the many stories we shared together. You made a mark in all our lives and I want to thank you for that. I am so happy that the children were with you these past weeks. I want to thank Greg for putting you on the phone last week. God loves you and It’s a good time to be in heaven, as we need you to get things going when we come up. Rest in Peace as we leave you with our love
A great friend though I only met him twice. Always thinking about me even tward the end.. Our weekly phone calls made my week. He epitomised the “due unto others” admonition, and as such he is clearly in a high place in Heaven.
I will cherish the Boston tee shirt he sent me after we won the series.
May God bless him and the family he loved so much. Rest in peace my good and gentle friend.
Steve… So lucky to have met you and honored to have worked with
you. Generous… one of a kind… always thinking about others and lending a hand if it would make it easier… Knowing you made me a better person. Corinne
I was a classmate of Steve’s at Cranwell Prep School in Lenox, Massachusetts back in the ’50s. We lived in the same dorm and always enjoyed spending time together. My good friend Dan Carroll, also Steve’s good friend, has given me an update on Steve’s illness and I was sorry to learn of all of the difficulties he has had over the past year and I very much want to extend my sympathy to the family. God Bless you all. Ed Reynolds, Class of 1955.
