Biff was the most wonderful patient I have ever had. He was kind and grateful for everything we did for him. His family was with him every day and were filled with joy and support every time I met them. Biff received his last wish on July 17, 2013 when he was able to give his beautiful daughter Meghan away to Wayne at their wedding in the hospital chapel. I will forever keep this family in my memory. My sincerest condolences to the Roberts’ family.
Meghan, Andrew and Family,
We are very sorry for your loss. We were glad to hear that your Dad was able to walk down the aisle and give his beautiful daughter away. I am sure that it brought happiness and peace to his last days to know that she will be taken care of by Wayne. May the memories of your time with him bring you some comfort and peace.

We only met William once but we were impressed with his strength of character and the obvious love and pride he held for his Son Jeff.

I’ll always remember Biff grinning as he drove a little boat just off the Cape, towing us kids on an inner tube over the waves and not being satisfied until he sent somebody flying. We wouldn’t have settled for less.
He was a special guy and a wonderful human being. My condolences to the Roberts clan.
My deepest condolences to the Roberts family; whether it was bantering about the Celtics or a late night chat at the Longfellow front desk, Bill always had words of wisdom and a story to tell. I already miss those conversations; he was truly a great guy and will be missed.

I have fond memories of Biff leading football and wiffle-ball games at the Cape. He was always so much fun to be around. My deepest condolences for your loss.
I am saddened to write this message to my dear second cousins Michael, Steven and Lisa and to Bill, the husband of my cousin Lis who I loved and whose love I felt in return. I spent many vacations with the Roberts/Fitzgerald family as a child and young adult both in Rockland and at the Cape. I was able, through the years, to follow the joy and sadness of this remarkable group through letters from Lis. To Biff’s immediate family my sincere condolences. Biff was an amazing person whose light will shine within all of you and yours through eternity. Of that I am sure.
