Helen “Phyllis” Keane, of Milton, January 4, 2013. Loving wife to the late James F. Keane, Sr. Beloved mother to her son James F. Keane Jr., his wife Cindy and their children Jimmy, Jenna, and Jessica. Proud member of the O’Brien Clan and cousin to the late Richie O’Brien as well as Regina Armstrong and family of Pine Point, ME. Loving sister-in-law to Maureen Crowe of Quincy, Kevin and Mary Keane of Quincy and John Keane of Brighton. Aunt to Kevin and Julie Keane, Jimmy Crowe and his wife Louanne, and Patrick Crowe and his daughter Mitzi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha’s Church, MILTON, Wednesday, January 9th at 10:30 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday, in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, 4-8 P.M. Interment Milton Cemetery.

Our deepest and sincere condolences to James F.. Keane Jr. and his family, we always admired your parents, what a nice couple, now they are together forever, your mom was a very elegant lady, and that is how we are going to remember her, she will be miss, but now she is in a better place close to your dad, she was missing him a lot, once we where talking about it and she told me a nice story and I felt that she miss him so much, it remainded me my parents, I knoww the pain, because I lost them too not too long ago.
To Jim and Cindy , You know how much we loved your Mother & Father. So many good memories .50 years of them. Attended each others weddings , the birth of our children and so many other memories. She was our best friend and we will miss her dearly. Know now that she will be in heaven with your father and be happy for her.

I was heartsick when I learned of Phyllis’ passing. We were colleagues as well as friends from the early 1960’s.
She was a genuine and gentle lady. And Jim, she was so very proud of you and your family and appreciated that she was much loved. I shall miss her.
