On behalf of the BWH Pulmonary Rehab staff and maintenance program participants I want to extend our deepest condolences. James was devoted to the program and in doing everything to remain as active as possible. His lively discussions definitely added a “spark” to the exercise sessions. He will be missed by all and will always remain a member of the POGS

Both my wife and I were very sad upon learning of James’ passing. We spent some time with him earlier in Dec. and enjoyed his friendship.
James was a member of the POG group (Pulminary Oyster Group) and enjoyed the camaraderie and banter of the maintenance group. He told me that the group actually showed that we could do many things (eating raw oysters) even though we were afflicted with COPD. James will be missed, and our condolences to all his family and friends. POG Leader, Michael Monk
Liz,
