Allen B. Pineo

Allen Pineo of St. Petersburg,FL, formerly of Canton passed away on December 1, 2012 at 87.  Loving husband for 52 years to his wife, Evelyn (Grundy) who predeceased him in 2006.  Allen is survived by his sister, Ruth Pineo of St. Petersburg, FL, his daughter, Laura Macs and her husband, Erik of Natick, his daughter Susan Gibbs and her husband, Mark of Canton, his son Jonathan and his wife, Christine of Bernardston, and his son Peter of Canton. He was the loving Grampa and Poppy to his granddaughter Kimberly (Gibbs) Boucher and her husband Jonathan, and grandsons Sean Gibbs  and Kyle Gibbs all of Canton, John Macs of Natick, Jason Kelliher and his husband, Brian Rice of CT,   Nicholas Kelliher and his wife Tammy of Oxford.  Allen was the proud great grandfather of James Boucher of Canton.  Allen enjoyed genealogy as he traced his descendants to the Mayflower and John Alden.  His love of horses which he shared with his wife moved him to help form the Ponkapoag Pony Club where he served as its first District Commissioner.  Former member of the Ponkapoag Hunt Club, former trustee of William Lawrence Camp in NH, and former Senior Warden at Church of the Holy Spirit in Mattapan.  Former employee of Tucker Anthony now Janney Mortgomery Scott where he worked for 52 years, retiring as vice president.  Funeral Service at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 525 River St. Mattapan, Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10 o’clock, Visitation 9 – 10 am at the church.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to either The American Heart Association,PO Box 417005,Boston,MA02241-7005 or The Friends of the Blue Hills,PO Box 416,Milton,MA 02186
