Lucy E. Branca

Lucy E. Branca, age 98, of Quincy November 8, 2012.  Beloved Sister of the late Filomena Gullifa, Eugene, Joseph and Alfred Branca. Devoted Aunt to Robert, Thomas, Paul, William, Richard, Jane, Donald and Nancy Branca. Also survived by multiple great and great-great nieces and nephews, her Sister –in –Law Anne Branca of Scituate and her best friend, Claire Costello of Milton. Long time, active parishioner @ St. Agatha’s Church in Milton and a member of The Proparvulis Club. An avid world traveler and an accomplished Artist, Lucy was a  graduate of The Boston Clerical School and retired after 38 years as a Senior Laboratory Assistant @ the Boston City Hospital Mallory Institute of Pathology.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Milton, Monday November 12 at 10:30 am. Visitation Monday in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON,  from 9 – 10 am. Interment  Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucy’s memory may be made to The Carroll Center for the Blind (770 Centre St. Newton, MA 02458) or to the Braille and Talking Book Library at the Perkins School for the Blind (175 North Beacon St. Watertown, MA 02472). Lucy’s family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Allerton House and Hancock Park in Quincy for their kindness and extraordinary care.
