Walter J. Connelly, Esquire. September 5, 2012. Beloved husband of Brenda Mary (O’Connor) of 48 years. Loving father of Walter J. Connelly, Jr. & his spouse Daniel Dalo of Winthrop; Brendan D. Connelly & his wife Tina of Port Coquitlam, BC; Matthew R. Connelly& his wife Tina of Franklin; and Neil J. Connelly& his wife Chelsea of Franklin. Dear brother of Barry J. Connelly of Dartmouth, and the late Regina Shea of Squantum and Roderick M. Connelly of Milton. Devoted grandfather of Madeline, Jackie & Sean; Shelby & Kaitlyn; and Ryan & Maeve. Walter was a lifelong resident of Milton, a Boston College Triple Eagle, a Korean War Veteran, and a former partner at Lyne, Woodworth & Evarts in Boston. Funeral from the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave, EAST MILTON, on Monday September 10 at 9 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Rd., Milton, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, Sunday 2-6 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter’s memory may be made to the Roderick M. Connelly Scholarship Fund, Boston College High School, 150 Morrissey Blvd, Dorchester, MA 02125.
