Attorney Francis X. Goode

Attorney Francis X. Goode, of Dorchester, died at Hancock Park, Saturday, March 3, 2012. Born and raised in North Quincy, he was a graduate of North Quincy High School, Boston University and Portia Law School. He served in the United States Marine Corps Pacific Theatre during World War II. Mr. Goode was an attorney in private practice in Boston. He was a resident of Dorchester for over 60 years. Beloved husband of the late Ruth B. (Barry) Goode. Loving father of Kathleen Munro of East Providence, RI, Eileen Johnson of Dorchester, Susan Goode of Quincy, Veronica Gonsalves of Raleigh, NC, Marjorie Goode and Jenifer Goode, both of Dorchester, Nina Egan of Braintree, Teresa Miller of Sharon, Francis X. Goode Jr. of South Boston and the late Ruthann M. Goode. Loving grandfather of 13. Devoted brother of Paul Goode of Kingsville, TX, Elizabeth Cronin of Braintree, Ethelann Conley of Falmouth and the late Helen Conley, Joseph Goode, Dorothy Casey, Jane Walley, Mary Goode and Edmund Goode. Visitation at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills, Wednesday, March 7 at 9:30 – 11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow in the Gilman Chapel at Cedar Grove Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
