Mildred J. “Millie” (Harris) Burke, died at Colonial Nursing Center, Weymouth, Monday February 13, 2012. A resident of Wollaston, formerly of Dorchester, she was a retired employee of Walter Baker Chocolate and Jordan Marsh. Mrs. Burke was a member of the former Blaney Memorial Baptist Church, Richmond Street, Dorchester. Millie was a member of the St. Mark’s Church Bowling League for over 30 years. Beloved wife of the late John E. Burke. Sister of Richard Harris of Barre, VT and the late Arthur Harris, Grace Harris, Sally Sweeney, Bobby Harris, Kenneth Harris, Harold Harris, Donald Harris and David Harris. Devoted friend of the late Walter Kugel. Millie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral service at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Friday February 17 at 11:00 AM. Visitation from 10-11 AM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
