Kristen (Vea) Coffman
Kristen (Vea) Coffman, a longtime resident of the Boston Home, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2011. She was a beloved daughter, sister and aunt and her steadfast spirit will be greatly missed by those who cared for her and loved her. Survived by her mother Janet (Swinehart) Vea of Fort Myers, FL, brother Peter and his wife Janet Vea of Canton, Michigan, sister Meg and her husband Patrick Barry of Kennebunkport, Maine and four nieces and one nephew. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 19 in the Activities Room at The Boston Home, 2049 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Boston at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Boston Home, Inc., 2049 Dorchester Avenue, Boston, MA 02124 for the Kristen Coffman Scholarship Fund.

I was shocked to learn of Kristen’s death in the IU Magazine, not to mention her long-term illness. I had no idea what ever happened to her as I had no communication from her after 1969. Always had wondered.
Kristen was a great IU friend and served cake at my wedding. She was such an easy going person.
